Bill Beard

Bill Beard, owner of Cape Air Charter, has been in the aviation industry for over 35 years. As an aircraft owner and Airline Transport Pilot, Bill has over 15,000 flight hours. He began his career as a Charter pilot for Cape Central Airways eventually founding Cape Air Charter in 2001.

Clyde Nenninger

Clyde Nenninger is an Airline Transport Pilot with over 4,300 hours of flight time. He has been flying for Cape Air Charter for the last five years. Previously he was a corporate pilot flying mostly multi-engine and jet aircraft. He holds type ratings in Cessna Citation and Embraer Phenom 100 jets.

Don Grossheider

An active pilot starting in 1975 and a commercial pilot/ flight instructor since 1985. Don developed and currently teaches a secondary aviation program entitled BASIC FLIGHT at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center.

BASIC FLIGHT is an ongoing program of the Cape Public Schools System, partnered with Cape Air Charter, which provides “ground school” studies and actual flight to high school levels students with an interest of aviation as a career choice.

His credentials include: Commercial Pilot Instrument rated Single and Multi engine;  Flight Insturctor: Single and Multi engine tailwheel; Instructor of Aviation: Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center, Cape Girardeau Missouri

Mike McCrate

Mike McCrate has been flying since 1971 and has been a Commercial Pilot since 1974, he has experience flying for Commuter Airlines, Charter, Corporate and Government Operations, as well as flight instruction. He also has international maritime experience flying in the Caribbean. Mike has been with Cape Air Charter since late 2015 providing flight instruction for our flight school and pilot services for our Corporate customers.

Mike has Commercial and Instrument ratings for Single and Multi Engine Airplane and a Commercial Rotorcraft -Gyroplane rating. He also has Airplane and Rotorcraft Flight Instructor ratings.  When not flying professionally, he enjoys restoring and test flying experimental and ultra light aircraft.
